The school band has been awarded the premier band in Freetown, a title that has been constantly in the possession of The Prince of Wales Secondary School band.

The school band has travelled for performances and engagements in Guniea and the Gambia and is currently under the supervision of Rev. Fr. John Emmanuel Garrick.

Deputy band master is Christopher L.D.J.Pratt - Member of the Old Edwardians Association.
